Buddy and I were in the mood for some good home cooked fried chicken. Dixie chicken and West Louisville did not disappoint. Best dark meat greens mac & cheese I've ever had. The peach cobbler did not disappoint and the eggroll was to die for. Worth almost getting shot over!

My mom loves this place as she was excited when I told her I was going to pick up some before visiting. I grew up in the West End and this place has been several different food places. The fish was fresh, hot and pretty good. I had greens and coleslaw with white bread. The fish could use some more flavor but it hit the spot for some good, home cooked, soul fried fish. Will be back and looking forward to trying the catfish.
